Naltrexone

Low dose naltrexone has properties that help immuno modulate hyper immune responses (often linked to auto-immune conditions). It may help regulate immune cell proliferation and reduce severity of auto-immune responses to triggers. There have been some research conducted the use of low dose naltrexone to treat conditions associated with long covid. When to use: Patients with auto-immune conditions may benefit from low dose naltrexone usage as a means to prevent sudden flare ups when triggered. Auto-immune flare ups have severe effects that impact a patient's quality of life significantly and usage of this medication may promote a better response to sudden onset of flare ups.
