Anastrozole

A anti-estrogen medication used to prevent the conversion of androgens (Testosterone\DHT\androstenedione) to estrogen in males. When to use: Primarily used in individuals who are on Testosterone replacement therapy to prevent the conversion to estrogen. High levels of estrogen in males can have detrimental physical and mental side effects. Preventing this conversion is the primary choice of therapy to prevent side effects.
