Dutasteride

Dutasteride is a potent medication known for it's ability to inhibit all three reductase isoenzymes and has shown to decrease Dihydrotestosterone (the primary hormone responsible for male pattern baldness) levels. Research shows that appropriate therapy with dutasteride can increase hair density and diameter. When to use: This inhibitor may be a better option than other formulations due its potent ability to block DHT and increase hair density. Highly recommended for patients who have tried and failed other therapies or as first line therapy.
