It is widely used as a local anesthetic for a multitude of surgical procedures due to its reliability. Tetracaine: A local anesthetic with high anesthetic effects. Often used in emergency rooms especially to start intravenous lines When to use: This combination of three powerful local anesthetics may be utilized pre and post procedure to provide localized pain relief without major systemic effects.
