Benzocaine/Lidocaine/Tetracaine

Benzocaine: a topical local anesthetic known to create a numbing sensation. May also provide pain relief in localized areas. Lidocaine: a local anesthetic with a very rapid onset of action. This can aid in creating a numbing sensation and can also provide greater pain relief to a localized area compared to other local anesthetics. It is widely used as a local anesthetic for a multitude of surgical procedures due to its reliability. Tetracaine: A local anesthetic with high anesthetic effects. Often used in emergency rooms especially to start intravenous lines When to use: This combination of three powerful local anesthetics may be utilized pre and post procedure to provide localized pain relief without major systemic effects.
